Marián Potočár
Born in Bratislava, studied architecture and city planning at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the University of Technology in Dortmund. After gaining his first practical work experience in various offices in Bratislava, his focus shifted to the history of Slovak architecture and the influence of dictatorships during the 20th century (PhD studies at the Slovak University of Technology 2011 -2014). Marián has been living in Vienna since 2011 and has closely observed the exciting transformation of the urban landscape and parallel developments in the region, especially in it's "sister capital" Bratislava. Since 2014, he has been working at ATP Vienna and "guiding architect" at architectural tours vienna.
